A patent attorney registered with the USPTO not only has the necessary legal degrees to practice law, but also has a scientific or engineering background and has passed a difficult test in which the passing rate is around only 40 percent. Using an attorney registered with the USPTO gives you extra assurance that your attorney is of the highest quality.
